How to Grow
Sow indoors 6–8 weeks before transplanting out. Surface sow as light aides germination, but a fine dusting of vermiculite helps with moisture. Transplant out after danger of frost. Pinching is recommended to encourage branching. Low temperatures and less than 12 hours of light can cause premature flowering.
Harvest & Vase Life
Fresh: Harvest crested celosia once reached desired size, but before going to seed. Harvest plume and wheat types when more than 1/2 of flowers are open or fully open but before going to seed. Dried: Harvest when fully developed and remove all leaves.
Expected vase life: 7 to 14 days.
