I freaked out when I finally scored this one and it was SO worth the wait. To this day, it is still hands down one of my all-time favorite white dahlias! 'Irish Ruffles' is one of the first to bloom (see ridiculous photo of me with her in July–this is *very* early for dahlias in our Zone 4 planted as tubers). She cranks out flowers all season long on tall, vigorous plants that are bug resistant. Intricate white petals with barely-there blush. Must. Grow.
P.S., can you spy the hummingbird in the last photo? We have SO many hummingbirds on the farm (hence, our logo). They are such curious creatures and I know she stopped by because we were laughing while taking photos. Someday, I dream of all the free time in the world (and my dream lenses) to capture photos of them🥰
