Echinacea purpurea
Echinacea purpurea
Echinacea purpurea, commonly known as purple coneflower, boasts a rich history steeped in both Native American and European herbal traditions. Revered for its immune-boosting properties, it has become a staple not only in herbal medicine but also in the cottage garden and can also be used as a cut flower. Bonus: it's a favorite food source for bees! The plant’s fibrous roots are easy to harvest (unlike other species with taproots) and are typically grown for 3–4 years before they’re ready for harvest. Perennial in Zones 3–10.
Packet contains approximately 100 seeds.
