Lettuce 'Crispino'
Lactuca sativa
We love a good taco night at our house, and you need iceburg for a classic taco night! Also fabulous for a wedge salad. We love Crispino for its high percentage of perfect heads, even when grown in less-than-ideal, warm and humid conditions. Seed is certified organic.
Sexier vegetables might steal the spotlight, but greens are where it’s at! Why settle for store-bought lettuce when you can have fresh, organic, and nutritious salads right from your backyard? The secret to keeping homegrown lettuce refreshingly crisp? Harvest first thing in the morning and immediately submerge in cool water.
Packet contains approximately 200 seeds.
