Pea 'Purple Magnolia'
Pisum sativum
Purple-podded peas are absolutely stunning! Purple on the outside and green on the inside are completely unique. These are best harvested young, before the pods become overly-plump for the best flavor and texture, but I like them any size for photos :)
Is there anything more quintessentially spring than garden peas? We love snacking on them straight off the vine, but they’re just as delightful cooked. With their beautiful, trailing vines, they do need a bit of support, but they'll effortless climb up just about any trellis.
Packet contains approximately 75 seeds.
