Pea 'Sugar Snap'
Pisum sativum
Superior strain from Johnny's (one of our seed suppliers), they have an ongoing collaboration with the family of the late Dr. Calvin Lamborn, the breeder of Sugar Snap. Vigorous, sweet crisp pods yields well throughout the season, even once it warms. Long, 72" vines need trellising. AAS Winner.
Is there anything more quintessentially spring than garden peas? We love snacking on them straight off the vine, but they’re just as delightful cooked. With their beautiful, trailing vines, they do need a bit of support, but they'll effortless climb up just about any trellis.
Packet contains approximately 75 seeds.
