My Peony Society describes these blooms as something that came out of a fairy tale, and that's really all I needed to read. But just in case that wasn't enough, here is what else they have to say:
"The best characteristics? Firstly Moon over Barrington is a very exclusive double-flowered peony that opens up in the shape of a rose. Also the huge flowers can grow up to 18 cm in diameter and are supported by large branches with green leaves that are strong and sturdy. But most importantly, they smell awesome!"
I've been told these are great for wedding work and cut flower production because the stems are incredibly tall, but also super strong.
Every year, I share a portion of our wholesale peony order. These are exceptional quality roots supplied by Groot & Groot, family-owned and premier grower of cut peonies and peony roots.
