Ranunculus Butterfly™ Eris

You guys have been asking, and I finally did it: Butterfly™ Ranunculus!!

These extra-special, premium ranunculus were developed in Japan and have a completely different look and growth habit from traditional ranunculus. Each plant produces branching stems carrying 5–7 fluttery flowers apiece.

Butterfly™ ranunculus are one of my absolute favorite flowers to design with. The blooms look incredibly delicate, but their waxy petals are surprisingly tough, and those branching stems make them so easy to weave through bouquets for that whimsical, airy garden feel.

And then there are the colors😭. They come in the most incredible, nuanced designer shades. I probably should have chosen just one, but obviously I couldn't help myself, so I got two (and linked some really inspiring photos/videos):

They're definitely a splurge, but they're also something really special, and I'm extra excited to have them growing on the farm next season!

Butterfly™ corms are not graded or sized and vary somewhat depending on variety, but they are larger corms. They produce taller plants, larger leaves, and a vigorous plant habit that requires wider spacing than typical ranunculus.
