Primed Rosemary
Rosmarinus officinalis
Finally—rosemary you can reliably grow from seed! We’ve been growing it for a few years now, and it does not disappoint. Primed rosemary seeds germinate faster and more uniformly than raw seeds, which is a game-changer, especially for those of us in colder climates where rosemary doesn't reliably perennialize. Beyond being a garden favorite, rosemary is well-regarded for its health benefits, including its role as a brain tonic, mild and uplifting stimulant, and powerful antioxidant.
Interestingly, studies suggest that rosemary may help reduce the formation of carcinogenic compounds produced in grilled meats. While I'm not into fear-mongering, I love me a grilled prime steak, so pass me the rosemary! We love to top ours with garden-grown garlic and herb butter. Ya know, for health :)
Packet contains approximately 50 seeds.

Once established, harvest leaves before flowering begins. Leaves can be harvested 3–4 times per year, cut at ground level. Leaves may be used fresh or dried. To dry, cut bundles into 1/4–1/2" lengths. Dry on a screen surfaced out of direct sunlight in an area with good ventilation. Stir periodically.
