Statice 'Rose Shades'
Limonium sinuatum
Apologies, this is not the best photo, but I could not resist a statice in dusty rose shades, so here we are! I feel like this is the Bracken Rose/Jowey Winnie of statice. More photos coming :)
Statice is incredibly productive and long lasting, whether used fresh or dried. Due to it's papery texture and color retention, is known as one of the best dried flowers, used since the Victorian era. The genus was named by the Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus in the 18th century. The name "Limonium" is derived from the Greek word "leimon," meaning "meadow," referencing its native habitat. Statice is associated with memories, sympathy, and lasting love.
Packet contains approximately 75 seeds.
